Jackie Bateman and her husband, Dave share Jackie’s hearing restoration journey thanks to University Hospitals ENT, Sarah Mowry, MD who performed a robotic-assisted, Cochlear Implant surgery. UH is one of the first centers in Ohio to offer robotic-assisted cochlear implant procedures.

The advantage of the robotic procedure is reduced trauma to the cochlea and better hearing preservation. After following up with UH Audiologist, Samantha Evans, Jackie (and Dave) have a renewed quality of life.
