In just ONE WEEK, Jack Kirby, the King of Comics, will be honored by the City of New York with a street sign designating Essex Street between Delancey and Rivington Street as "Jack Kirby Way" for all time.

The official ceremony will begin at noon on Monday, May 11, 2026, with speakers including NYC Council Member Christopher Marte, Marvel's Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski, and Jack Kirby's family, daughter Lisa, and grandchildren Jeremy and Tracy.

Fans will join the Jack Kirby Museum, historian Roy Schwartz, CAF CEO Kasra Ghanbari, and a who’s who of the comics industry to witness this illustrious moment.
