Jack Gibbons plays Brahms' organ Chorale Prelude on "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen" ("Lo, how a rose e'er blooming"), Op.122 no.8, arranged for piano by Ferruccio Busoni. "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen" is one the world's oldest Christmas carols. Brahms' chorale, one of his very last works, will feature in Jack Gibbons' Christmas Rhapsody concert in the historic university city of Oxford, England, on 16 December 2025.
