For over 40 years, Dr. Boyd has conducted research on metallurgical processes in academic, government and industrial environments. He is recognized internationally for his work on micro-structural design and new steel processing technologies. He also served as Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Metallurgical Quarterly.
