Making a Mixed Media Notecard + a cringeworthy Mistake! Tater Eyes Sass Mouth 2021-03-08 | In this video, I’m creating a Mixed Media Art Notecard to send out along with a commissioned embroidery project. This is a Work-in-Progress (WIP) as I work through the creative process to create this notecard. 📢 Grammar folks — Before y’all comment! 📢 — I realize that this notecard used the magazine found word ‘Your’ instead of ‘You’re’. Trust me when I say that it’s been bothering me as soon as I noticed the issue. It cannot be unseen and I probably won’t sleep tonight. 🙄😐😑At the time of creating/filming, I didn’t notice or honestly think much about it. I was primarily immersed into the creative process. My creative side of the brain engaged, the logic side of the brain switched off. I know the usage difference of ‘Your and You’re.’ And I realize the magazine cut-out word mistake after the fact, far too late to correct. 🤦🏼♀️ Mistakes happen all the time. It’s human. Embroidery with Running Stitch + Circles — Stitch Meditations for the #100DayProject Tater Eyes Sass Mouth 2021-02-26 | UPDATE : I’ve realized that the Day 23 video that I posted yesterday contained the wrong Work-In-Progress video with the wrong date + patch. The patch shown here is for Day 24. The Work-in-Progress (WIP) portion of the video is for Day 23. 🤪 So as a remedy, each video posted contains the opposite WIP video to the actual patches shown. Problem solved!? 🤷🏼♀️ I mean it’s not like both of those patches look alike and are super easy to confuse?! 🤪🤣👍It's Day 24 and I’ve transitioned to a series of Green patches. I’m embroidering a sashiko inspired running stitch with various green threads for the center circle and running stitches. 4 Days of Embroidery Patches — Stitch Meditations for the #100DayProject Tater Eyes Sass Mouth 2021-02-23 | It's Four Days chock full of Stitch work!Days 19, 20, 21, 22 — in today’s video series you will see me actively embroidering Day 19’s patch with a sashiko inspired running stitch with tiny bits of batik fabric remnants. I didn’t get a chance to film the other days, since those patches were completed VERY late each night. Day 20 patch features more running stitches paired with a Spiderweb stitching. Day 21 patch — possibly my favorite one out of this batch — features more running stitches, a swirl of stitches and Spiderweb stitched circles, which reminds me of cute little pinwheels! 💕Day 22 patch — features more running stitches, couching with intricate thread work looping through the couched overlay stitch.
