Redesigning my ALL TIME Favourite Case - $7000 Z690 AQUA TJ07 Build! GGF Events 2022-04-20 | In our second ASRock Z690 AQUA Build, we took an old beaten up stock Silverstone TJ07 chassis and mixed it up with with the distro plate from the limited edition 909EK. But this time the layout is traditional ATX and not inverted like found on the 909EK. Lastly extra panels, cover strips, optional magnetic rad cover and a new paint job were added to make the chassis look like one streamlined case. The Sliger SV590 V2 has support for a 360 radiator in a vertical orientation keeping it's footprint to a minimum. Make sure you stay right till the end for temp results on this system.In order to fit the PE radiator and 30mm thick T30 fans. The inner divider had to be removed, trimmed down a bit, painted and riveted back in. Also the the stock PSU location was not used and was relocated up the top and with the right motherboard, port access is still viable. FIRE AND ICE! - Modding the new MATTE WHITE Phanteks Evolv X GGF Events 2022-01-30 | A theme I've always wanted to tackle and that is orange and white to represent fire and ice and what better way than to use the brand new matte white edition of the popular Evolv X chassis from Phanteks. The idea was to create a subtle fire effect coming from around the motherboard tray while all other components remained white. This build took 2 days to complete and mods include:- Completely removing the insides of the case - mobo tray and PSU cover- Replacing motherboard tray with custom made 10mm frosted acrylic tray- Replacing PSU cover with custom made 6mm frosted acrylic cover- Adding a small screen to replace where the Phanteks logo once was (this was built in to the PSU cover so was removed)- Adding a small screen in the PSU cutout- Custom alu cable covers for the back which are a trimmed down version of what the case comes with.- Custom 24 pin cable brackets for behind the motherboard tray.
