100% Orange Juice - Online Match [450] Treasure Tails SomeGuy712x 2023-09-22 | This match took place on September 20th, right after the previous match I uploaded, and we play on Bounty Hunt with the new Treasure Tails event without any major malfunctions this time!So, to reiterate, with this event, the only bounties that appear are various flavors of Mousse. The normal Mousse is the same as always, with 7 HP, -1 ATK, -1 DEF, -1 EVD, and being worth 2 fame. The new Key Lime Mousse is worth 3 fame, but has 0 for ATK/DEF/EVD instead of -1. And, the new Strawberry Mousse is worth 4 fame, but has +1 for ATK/DEF/EVD, so it's like a Peat with way more health. Better be well-prepared if you want to challenge that one.In addition, the regular fetch quests are still available, but you can't just collect 2 fame for "free" with them during this event, because after you leave the shop you hand in the quest item to, you'll be challenge by one regular Mousse enemies, but they'll have only 2 HP instead of 7, so winning should be easy most of the time, and then you'll claim your 2 fame. You might even get challenged by multiple 2-HP Mousse encounters in a row, and can earn 2 fame for each.While playing in this event, the norma requirements are lowered to match the amount of Wins you'd need for Wins normas in normal games. So, you need 1/2/5/9/14 fame to norma in this event instead of 2/5/9/14/20. This helps keep the games from dragging on forever, but they can still take a while anyway.Another nice thing is that everyone gets an additional +1 to max hand size on top of the +1 you normally get with Bounty Hunt. So, most characters can now carry 5 cards instead of 3, Suguri V2 can carry 4 cards instead of 2, and certain characters like Aru can carry 6 cards instead of 4. Also, you'll no longer get duplicate quest offers when stopping at a home now, which is really nice.Oh, and come chapter 10 (or sometimes even earlier, but it was chapter 10 in this match), the new Dark Chocolate Mousse arrives on the field. She takes the place of the Harbinger of Doom that normally appears during Bounty Hunt. And, instead of dooming players to be KO'd, she instead dooms their stars with the IOU effect.If the IOU runs its full course, the player loses stars equal to 10x their level, as if they were hit with Ubiquitous. If Dark Chocolate Mousse manages to steal stars this way three times, then on her next turn, she'll gain +1 max HP, fully heal, and hit everyone with IOU at once.Also, she can only be defeated in proper battle, so no trying things like x16 Big Rocket on her. And, after each time she battles, she randomly warps to another space on the board, which can make chasing her down trickier.She rarely attacks on her own, but for some reason decided to at 21:39 here, and... it resulted in her untimely demise. Except, on my end, his attack at about 7:38 was dodged, and then I was stuck waiting for Richie's defense roll after the enemy Mousse counterattacked with a 4. But, that defense roll would never come, because Richie had already defeated it on his end.UPDATE: Turns out Richie did defend against that 4 that I saw here, but my game just didn't receive that data for some reason, and then he quickly defeated it with his next attack after that. 100% Orange Juice - Waruda Prison Break Episode 1 Extreme SomeGuy712x 2023-09-15 | Okay, I've decided to start going through Waruda Prison Break on Extreme difficulty now, but just to stay mostly sane, I will be using the OP single-player Tomomo here.In this particular match, I actually had a main goal in mind besides winning, and that was to show off a glitch that was recently discovered. During an Extreme difficulty Campaign, if a CPU is holding Lucky Sevens, there's a chance they'll roll an 8 with an invisible die. Whoops! (This can also happen with strong CPUs on Original difficulty, such as Tomomo in the final episode of the main Campaigns, and in Tomomo Hell.)Methinks the devs at some point accidentally set the upper bound of die rolls to 8 instead of 7 for strong Campaign CPUs that are carrying Lucky Sevens. Who knows how long this glitch has actually existed for. It could've just happened only with the latest update, or might've existed ever since Lucky Sevens was added to the game, and we only stumbled upon it now.I wanted to try to show this in this particular episode too, because of the Charity Field Event being present to help everyone draw more cards. However, it still took me several tries before I could get a match where a CPU acquired the Lucky Sevens I brought with me, and then didn't simply discard it right away.In this match, Sora (Military) started with Lucky Sevens already in her hand, and wasted no time rolling her first 8. This happened too quickly for me to react and take a screenshot, but I was prepared to snap screenshots her later rolls, and she did indeed roll 8 a couple more times before discarding Lucky Sevens.After that, I was playing to win, and it got really close towards the end, especially after Mimyuu (Jailbird) scored a jackpot from a Toy Store trap. You start this game with 7 lives (Why not 9?), you have a barely controllable jump, and you're armed with an unwieldy bomb that may or may not be self-destructive to you, so be careful.I originally intended to just see how far I could get in 9 minutes for this video, but my lives were nearly exhausted when the 9-minute mark came, so I just kept going until I got a Game Over. At least I found a key word, though I'm not sure what it's used for. At least it has a couple of custom things in it that are sorta neat.Interestingly, this hack does include the overworld map we saw in EVERY LEVEL MORTON. 100% Orange Juice - Waruda Prison Break Final Episode SomeGuy712x 2023-08-23 | In this episode, we face off against our other selves, and they're watching us all with the eye of the liger.We play on a brand new map this time, Circus! The Field Events here are Minelayer, Home Roulette, and Treasure. And, the opponents are regular Krila, and regular Mimyuu & Tomato.This field seems like it's got an interesting design. I see no Battle/Drop choices at all, which is definitely a plus. No Drop/Drop or Battle/Battle choices either, so none of those Morton's Forks either. However, there are places where RNG can force you to land on a Battle or Drop, but that's pretty normal for most maps anyway. Interestingly, in this match, no one ever ended up landing on the boss after it was summoned, so I have no idea what the boss of this map is yet. I'm sure I'll find out soon, though.I went with Mimyuu (Jailbird) here, so my third opponent was Krila (Pajamas), of course. (If you play as someone other than Mimyuu (Jailbird) or Krila (Pajamas), both of them will be opponents along with Mimyuu & Tomato, and the regular Krila will be absent.)This ended up going unexpectedly smoothly for me, despite some annoyances, like an opponent using Scrambled Eve to remove the Hypers I was holding, and Minelayer placing a trap on a Warp Move dead end that I was heading towards. I could've chosen to land on the boss to steer away from it, but I didn't want to risk the boss unnecessarily when I didn't know what it was, and had no defenses against it at the time. At least the CPUs usually chose not to battle me, and the one time I was attacked, that CPU rolled low, so I was fine.Later on in the match, I was at level 5 with a decent star lead, and had the option of battling the regular Mimyuu on a home. I did the math, and even with that Mimyuu only losing 1/4 of her stars in combat, I'd still get enough to win on the spot if I scored the KO, so I went for it, and... the CPU rolled the 1 of doom! HUZZAH! And, this was my first attempt, so I beat 5 out 6 of this campaign's episodes on Normal difficulty on my first try!With this mission beaten, the ending and credits roll, I get the achievement "The Great Escape" for finishing this campaign, and I unlock the Circus map for free use, along with a couple of nameplate backgrounds. (The Circus map can also be purchased in the shop for 30000 stars (or 21000 stars with the 30% discount) if you don't want to wait to finish this campaign to unlock it.)Feel free to comment, but just know that I dislike profanity. 100% Orange Juice - Waruda Prison Break Episode 5 SomeGuy712x 2023-08-14 | In this episode, we take a nice trip to the local zoo.We play on Witch Forest this time, which is arguably the worst map ever made. The Field Events here are Battlefield and Spores. And, the opponents are Teotoratta, Haruo the Chicken, and either Krila (Pajamas) or Mimyuu (Jailbird), depending on who you're already using. I used Krila (Pajamas) here, so my third opponent was Mimyuu (Jailbird). (If you use neither of those two, they'll both be opponents, and Haruo the Chicken won't show up.)Unfortunately, my first-try streak came to an end here. On my first attempt, I got Path Blocked onto a Golden Egg, and while I wasn't ever slain, it did hurt my star income for a while. It was close at the end, but Teo beat me to the victory.I then decided to try Mimyuu (Jailbird) a few times, so that she'd be more likely to kill stuff during Battlefield, but geez, I got terribad rolls so often... On one attempt, she rolled 1 for movement onto a Battle tile on the first turn, then 1 for ATK and 1 for DEF. That dropped me down to 1 HP from a -1 ATK Chicken that rolled a pair of sixes against me. Then on turn 2, I rolled 1 for movement onto the next Battle tile, and got KO'd by that same Chicken that rolled yet another 6 for ATK. Talk about ridiculous RNG. (Should I upload the short video showing that happening?)UPDATE (August 28, 2023): I did decide to upload that one attempt where I had terribad luck at the very start. I'm glad this annoying map didn't take too many tries, at least.Things of note during this match: Early on, at about 2:56, I ended up sending my accomplice back to -jail- her home. Then, at 4:02, Teo used a Yellow Mushroom, which turned out to be a warp effect... and she stayed on the same exact panel! Also, the silly Chicken used a couple of Pink Mushrooms in a row at 7:01 and 7:43, which caused it to drop stars both times. You'd think the Chicken would've learned the first time. :PNow, I don't know why I didn't use my Rbits when I landed on a Boss tile at 9:09. I really should've, and they would've made a difference. At least I eventually got revenge on the castle much later, first by reducing it to 1 HP with my Hyper at 13:41 and then finishing it off immediately after, and that gave me way more than enough stars to eventually win!Oh, and next time will be the final episode of this campaign, where I'm sure we'll see something new...Feel free to comment, but just know that I dislike profanity. I decided to go with Mimyuu (Jailbird) here, and my opponents here were Krila (Pajamas), QP, and Kyupita.Once again, Krila (Pajamas) helped me out, providing me with a nice bacon at one point. Also, the opponents didn't seem to want to attack me. Maybe because Mimyuu (Jailbird)'s high stats deter them, much like single-player OP Tomomo does? Anyway, it became sorta close at the end, and it was entirely possible that Krila could've won before me, but I managed to land on a home first to win it!And, that makes four first-try victories in a row now! There appear to be several places where I'm forced to pick up some coins. But, upon further analysis, maybe this nightmare of a level can actually be beaten coinless, or at least with very few coins collected.However, after all that scouting, the video has become nearly 20 minutes long, and I have no idea how long or how many real attempts it'll take for me to get a satisfactory run. I chose to play as Mimyuu (Jailbird) this time, who did receive a bit of a nerf with the recent 3.13.2 update. Her Hyper, Make-Believe Prison Break, now costs 13 stars instead of being free. However, that's the only change to her thus far. Her stats and her Hyper's effects remain the same.Anyway, my opponents here were Krila (Pajamas), Chris, and Store Manager, thanks to us performing the dark art of dining and dashing. Will we be able to escape without paying for our meals and moo juice? Well, the answer is obviously yes, or I wouldn't be uploading this.Interestingly, I got a nice assist from my "partner in crime" that greatly helped me get revenge on Store Manager not long after he had clobbered me. And thankfully, using Make-Believe Prison Break didn't crash the game either!So yeah, there was an update a few days ago that apparently fixed the crashing issue that some people (including me) were having with the Deal command and certain Hypers, and now it appears everything works correctly once again.Oh, and on my final move, I would've used Dash to help me get home, except it does not stack with the boost provided by Make-Believe Prison Break (but MBPB does stack with Sprint), similar to Cook's Guidance of the Weathercock.Also, I do rapidly rush through the text at the start of this episode this time. 100% Orange Juice - Dealers Deal Command Crashes Game SomeGuy712x 2023-07-19 | I don't know exactly what they did, but with this update to 3.13.2 that brought back the Pool Party event as a rerun, the game now crashes on me when I click Deal while using a Dealer in Co-op.Weirdly, this seems to only affect me, and only when I click Deal. It doesn't crash when other people use Deal, and if I'm watching them do it, my game doesn't break either.It can't simply be because I'm still using my "potato" PC that's still on Windows 7, right? I mean, Deal has always worked just fine for me in the past, so why would that be different now?(1:33) Whoops, the game just crashed!UPDATE: Apparently, it happened to another user named Shamwich, which Mark pointed out to me just before I published this video. Super Mario World - Bouncing Cheeseballs SomeGuy712x 2023-07-18 | So, MarkVD100 had just shown me a clip where something silly happened to Richie in a hack he was playing:https://i.gyazo.com/89743314fcb2236103217db48fa76eb2.mp4Unfortunately, the screen went gray early on, so we don't get to see exactly how it started, but I think it's pretty obvious to me now.When Yoshi starts to eat a Pokey segment (which shall henceforth be referred to as a "cheeseball"), and is interrupted by being hit (perhaps from running into the rest of that Pokey itself), the cheeseball will just drop and fall off the bottom of the screen and disappear. It's kinda silly, but nothing extraordinary.However, if the licked cheeseball is high enough, it will actually bounce back up and then fall again, repeatedly. I recall first seeing this happen while Flandre and I were co-op playing Super Mario Omega on our own time (not anything I recorded for YouTube), and this happened in the Sonic the Hedgehog level. I had decided to record a short clip of that with HyperCam 2, and included it in the voting results of my 5th Magical Crystals episode just to be silly.But, after Mark showed me that clip today, he asked if that could be replicated in the original SMW, and I immediately thought of trying it on the highest Pokey in Groovy. Lo and behold, it does indeed work there! You have to jump up into that Pokey as Yoshi is licking one of its cheeseballs to get enough height, but it can be done!I'm guessing this happens because there's no set cap for the Y velocity of the falling cheeseball, and then it overflows when it exceeds +127, causing it to roll over to -128 and then continue incrementing from there. The cheeseball will typically despawn off the bottom of the screen before that happens, but in levels with vertical scrolling (in hacks), or with the highest Pokey in Groovy, the cheeseball can reach the rollover point with its falling velocity before it despawns, resulting in this bounce effect.Additionally, since the upper bound of its speed is +127, while the lower bound is -128, it will actually gradually rise up higher and higher as it's bouncing, until it eventually "returns to its home planet" off the top of the screen, never to be seen again.Meanwhile, oddly enough, if you have Yoshi continue to lick around the area where the cheeseball is bouncing, he might find "phantom" cheeseballs with his tongue and eat them, but this won't make the bouncing cheeseball disappear. Yeah, I have no idea why that even happens. Time for Mimyuu and Krila to break out of prison, although Krila will need some motivating first.In this episode, I'm playing on the Normal difficulty, but now that I think of it, didn't I begin with the Original difficulty when I went through the previous multi-episode Campaign I made videos of (which I think was Wanderers)? Oh, well. I guess I'll stick with Normal for now. I don't know whether or not I'll bother showing them being beaten on Extreme later, though.Anyway, we play on Training Program here, with Charity and Amplify for the Field Events, which are fine by me. And, the opponents are Sora (Military), Sham, and either Krila (Pajamas) or Mimyuu (Jailbird), depending on who you chose to play as. I decided to go with Krila (Pajamas) here, so Mimyuu (Jailbird) was the other opponent for me.(Interestingly, I checked this later, and if you play as someone besides Krila (Pajamas) or Mimyuu (Jailbird), then Sham is the one who doesn't show up, even if you play as Sora (Military) yourself.)I ended up getting a lot of Wins mid-match, and debated switching to the 9-Wins norma while I was at 8 Wins, but decided to stick with stars. Didn't want to push my luck there. Also, I unleashed my Hyper to wreck everyone at one point, including the boss. And, the extra HP buffer was just enough to keep me alive when the dreaded 6-1 showed up later.This match became pretty close between me and Sham towards the end, but I managed to win the race to the finish, and succeeded at this one on my first try! 100% Orange Juice - Online Match [447] Pajama Achievements SomeGuy712x 2023-07-02 | This match took place on July 1st, and in this match, I play as Krila (Pajamas) again, and go for her achievements, successfully getting both!To get "The Lion Sleeps Tonight", you need to have Krila (Pajamas) hold onto Bloodlust until its HP-loss effect removes all of her HP and KOs her that way. Pretty simple. The real trick was probably figuring this out in the first place, and then just managing to draw a Bloodlust during the match (and hoping you don't get KO'd by something else before Bloodlust itself KOs you).To get "Tossing and Turning", you need to negate 1 damage in battle with Krila (Pajamas) ten times in one match. Now, this also seemed simple enough, just so long as you could get into battle enough times during the match, and that you didn't get unlucky die rolls.Fighting against characters with negative ATK stats (like Chicken, Robo Ball, and especially Watty without any Hardened Scales stacks) is probably your best bet, and using cards like Rbits to buff your DEF can help too, particularly against the stronger attackers.Now, while Nater and I got the "Tossing and Turning" achievement no problem here, for some reason, it wasn't triggering for JethroGoro, even though we were sure he negated damage more than ten times throughout the match. Now, he did suffer the most evil dreaded 6-1 against him at 38:48 when he otherwise would've gotten his tenth negate right there (and he was ready to let Bloodlust KO him afterwards too, so that was a double whammy of bad luck). And, after this match, we suspected that maybe you can't ever be KO'd while going for this achievement.So, in the very next match after this one (which I didn't record), we kept careful track of how many times Jethro negated damage with Krila (Pajamas) in battle. After he did so twice, he got KO'd by something else outside of battle, so we kept counting from there, with numbers like 3/1, 4/2, etc. as if getting KO'd might've reset the count. The achievement did not trigger for him at 10/8, but it DID at 12/10.That means, Krila (Pajamas) must negate damage ten times in battle without getting KO'd along the way in order to get the achievement, and getting KO'd does indeed reset the count. This makes going for "Tossing and Turning" potentially much more annoying than initially expected, because just one bad instance of RNG (like the aforementioned dreaded 6-1) can erase all of your progress just like that, which is super dumb. (Actually, I had accidentally KO'd him beforehand at 30:50, so his progress towards "Tossing and Turning" was already ruined at that point.)(Oh, and JethroGoro also got "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" in that unrecorded match after this one, so all is good for him now.)Also, during this match, we experience another glitch involving damaging the boss with Krila (PJ)'s transformed Hyper, When My Slumber Breaks. The boss is first reduced to 6 HP by Peat's attack at 22:04, then takes 5 damage from WMSB just afterward at 22:11. And finally, his last 1 HP is removed from another WMSB at about 22:22, but the Boss panels remain on the board again, and this time, a Boss panel is actually landed on before they revert back to being normal panels. The result: The boss's HP is reset back to full and he sticks around until we beat him again the normal way. 100% Orange Juice - Online Match [446] Krila (Pajamas) SomeGuy712x 2023-07-01 | This match took place on June 28th, right after the previous one I uploaded, and in this match, I play as Krila (Pajamas).Krila (Pajamas)'s stats:4 HP, 0 ATK, +1 DEF, 0 EVD, 6 REC.Cannot use the Evade command in battle. If you would suffer 1 damage while using the Defend command, cancel that damage and pay stars equal to your level to the opponent.Hyper (Gift): Threats to My SlumberLevel 1, Cost: 13When you cancel exactly 1 damage in battle while holding this card, gain a stock of Waking. (Max 4. Does not stack.) Transform to When My Slumber Breaks upon use.Hyper (Event): When My Slumber BreaksLvl 2, Cost: 13Deal X+1 damage to all other players and the Boss, where X is your Waking count. Remove all Waking stocks. Gain 1 HP for every 2 Waking stock removed.So, this is an interesting character. She has Syura's stats, but with 6 REC instead of 4, and she cannot evade. However, being able to completely negate damage with a good enough Defend means she's not just an automatic dead duck if she battles while at 1 HP. Of course, she does lose a few stars while canceling damage, but that's usually better than losing half of her stars and being KO'd for a few turns. The 6 REC might seem to be a bit harsh, though. Maybe 5 REC would've been better? I'm not sure yet.As for her Hyper, I guess it's interesting, but you have to charge it up by negating 1-point hits in battle (which does cost a few stars each time) for it to be decently potent, then spend 13 stars to transform the card, and then spend another 13 stars on a future turn to unleash it. That seems like a lot of investment. Oh, and note that even if you're holding multiple Threats to My Slumber, you'll still only get 1 Waking stack per 1 damage negated.However, it is a "gain HP" effect that can bring you above your maximum HP if you've got at least 2 Waking stacks when you use it. In addition, it has the unique effect of being able to damage the boss. Yes, the Boss panel boss. And, without having to get into battle with it. Unfortunately, you don't get any special bonus for KO-ing anyone with the Hyper, including the boss.Also, there might be a bit of glitchiness when it comes to KO-ing the boss outside of battle. When I did that in this match at about 28:22, the Boss panels lingered for a bit. I was curious what would happen if a Boss panel was hit at that time, but no one landed on one, and then they reverted to normal Battle panels after Richie KO'd Mark at 30:51. In addition, I've read about cases where the boss erroneously goes back up to full HP, including in Co-op mode. However, no one used Krila (Pajamas) in this match, so I'll only talk about Mimyuu (Jailbird) here.Mimyuu (Jailbird)'s stats:5 HP, +1 ATK, 0 DEF, +1 EVD, 4 REC.When KO’d in battle, move to your Home panel.Hyper (Boost): Make-Believe Prison BreakLevel 1, Cost: 0Move to your Home panel without activating it. Cannot be challenged or be the target of other players' Boost cards. Immune to Trap cards, instant KO effects, and card damage from other players. Roll 2 dice for movement. Effect ends after traversing 20 panels.Wow... so... uhh... Is this what power creep is looking like in 100% Orange Juice? Mimyuu's got 1 more ATK, 1 more EVD, and 1 less REC compared to the average baseline QP stats. She even beats Teotoratta's above average stats by +1 ATK, and Teo was probably balanced out by her Hyper usually not doing much, if anything at all.Now, Mimyuu (Jailbird) does technically have a downside, if you can call it that. If KO'd in battle, she goes directly to jail (her home), does not pass Go, and does not collect $200. However, I think that "downside" is probably negligible most of the time.In addition, she has a really useful Hyper that has no cost, and makes her practically untouchable for a while (except for Battle panels). It could pretty much act as a "Get Out of Jail Free" card if she's being threatened by other players. And, while you won't get to activate your own home when you warp there, you still get your movement for that turn, which comes with practically a free "Dash" attached.However, the extra movement die from the Hyper is actually more like Cook's Guidance of the Weathercock. It can combo with Sprint and the x2 Move and Warp Move panels to roll 4 dice at once, but will not stack with the actual Dash card. I still think that's an odd decision with what can and can't stack that way, but whatever.I wouldn't be surprised if the devs decide to nerf some aspect of Mimyuu (Jailbird) in the future, but for now, let's make use of her as she currently is.Oh, and early on in this match, I got two achievements on the same turn! To get "Catch Me if You Can", move 20 or more panels on the same turn you use Make-Believe Prison Break. Doing this during a Sprint turn on a map with Move and Warp Move panels (especially Warp Move dead ends) is probably your best bet for making this work. And, if you use Lonely Chariot beforehand, you can guarantee rolling 20 on a Sprint turn with the Hyper.To get "In Plain Sight", land back at your own home on the same turn you use Make-Believe Prison Break. I got really lucky with my movement on this map, but if you want to practically assure getting this more easily, I'd recommend the Space Wanderer map, where it only takes doing an 8-panel donut to back to your home after using the Hyper. 100% Orange Juice - Online Match [444] Time Hooder SomeGuy712x 2023-06-20 | This private match took place on June 20th, and in this match, I take on MARKVD100's "Time Hooder" challenge, which involves "racing" on his custom field, Hooded Tollbooths.So, this board is really neat, and I like it a lot. It has sort of a "lap" structure to it, with everyone's home at the "starting line". However, there are various branching paths, and multiple additional home points along the way that don't belong to any player. They're in two-way dead ends, which makes for some interesting pathing, and they all have a Drop panel on their doorstep, sort of making them into "toll" booths, so you may have to pay if you want to stay there. Oh, and this map's field events are Regeneration and Minelayer for this "Time Hooder" challenge.I decided to go with Chicken, so that if I could trigger my own Golden Egg, I'd then gain stars from the "tolls". And, I eventually successfully pulled this off late in the match. Also, losing only 1/4 of my stars the one time I got hit with Rival helped too. Then, at the very end, I was in a position near one of the "toll" homes where I just needed to roll an even number to win, and I could keep attempting this coin flip every turn from there on out. But, I rolled a 6 on the very next turn to claim this victory on my very first try against "Time Hooder"!There were a couple of other interesting things to note that occurred in this match. If Home Improvement is used, you don't get card draws for landing on the neutral home points. And, if Mix Phenomenon is used, it will temporarily get rid of the neutral home points.And finally... Wow, what the heck was going on with the RNG for CPU Yuki's attacks? Every single time she attacked, she rolled max to swing at her opponent (usually CPU Mio) for 8! By my count, that occurred 7 times in a row, and not once did she attack for less than 8!
