The 2026 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI 2026) is held between the second and third splits of all regions. The top two teams of the LCK, LCS, LCP, LEC, and LPL as well as the champion of the CBLOL compete for the MSI title. The teams participating in the playins are: T1 Esports, Karmine Corp ( KC ), Team Liquid ( TL or TLAW ), and Deep Cross Gaming ( DCG ), with the other 7 teams that are already in the main stage which are: Bilibili Gaming ( BLG ), Top Esports ( TES ), Hanhwa Life Esports ( HLE ), G2 Esports, LYON, Team Secret Whales ( TSW ), and Furia. The winner of this tournament will get an automatic qualification to the upcoming Worlds 2026 event provided they reach playoffs in their their regional split, while the runner up team will also unlock an additional seed for its domestic league at Worlds 2026.
