Happy Birthday, Umi!
Okay, so I originally wanted to do Umi's solo song, "Yuuki no Reason" (Reason of Courage), but ran into problems with the strength and volume of my voice with the accompanying instrumental (I could only find the official off-vocal. Getting say a piano track to use instead, which I actually tried to do, wasn't possible, at least for the full version). So, I wound up singing this, instead, which is fine. I love this song, too and actually had it on my list of ideas for Rin's birthday this year (I've planned out almost the whole year, this year.) It makes more sense to sing it for Umi's birthday though anyway, since she's the center for the standard version of the song, and even for the live version, the center is Nozomi, not Rin. So, yeah. And I know a couple lines sound a bit off, but I did my best and hope you all enjoy it anyway.

Note: "Shiranai" means " strange" or "unknown", though I translated it to "I've never known" for the sake of having enough syllables. "Oshiete" means "to teach", "to tell," or "to inform". In this case, it means "to teach".

So, I just recently got into Zelda a back on Christmas when I got the Switch and have been playing a lot of Twilight Princess over the past month. I fell in love with this song upon first listen after I stumbled upon it on YouTube while still playing Ocarina of Time (on emulator) In fact, this song is what made me want to play Twilight Princess in the first place and I finally wrote lyrics for it yesterday and felt like singing it. I know some parts are a bit iffy, but Im still getting over a bit of a cold and my voice while mostly back is still a bit on the weak side. So, rather than trying to force it to come out strong for the most part, I decided to keep it on a bit weak on purpose since Midna was dying when this song was playing in the game anyway and the lyrics were written to reflect her thoughts and feelings as wolf Link rushes her to Princess Zelda.
EDIT: This was uploaded in March shortly after Oyasuminasan! but didnt get published by accident. So, this was actually my first Zelda cover and I was recovering from a cold then. Hence everything written above.
