If you’re just starting out OR if you've been crafting for a while, I hope this list encourages you today...
✉️ Your first cards won't be your best cards.. and that's exactly how it should be. Every card you make teaches you something.
✉️ Done is better than perfect. A card that gets sent brings more joy than a perfect card that never leaves your craft room.
✉️ The person receiving your card won't see the wobble in your sentiment or the slightly uneven die cut. They'll just feel loved.
✉️ You don't need every stamp set or die. Creativity actually flourishes with limits. Some of my favourite cards were made with the simplest supplies.
✉️ Making cards for no reason at all is one of the most underrated things you can do. You don't need a birthday or occasion to brighten someone's day.
✉️ Handmade cards get kept. I've had people tell me years later they still have a card I made them. That never gets old.
✉️ Giving a handmade card is vulnerable. You made something with your hands and you're sharing it. That's actually really brave and really beautiful.
