This Tourette Syndrome Awareness Month (May 15 – June 15), we’re focusing on advocating for a world where each member of our community is free to be their authentic self, disclose their neurodivergence when and how they want, and can choose how they want to be defined. While tics can play a large role in our lives and identities – and we have the right to disclose our Tic Disorder on our terms, all too often people at work, school, or in other situations choose to only see us as someone who tics.
We need your help to show the world that you’re proud of who you are – tics and all – and that you should be free to be #AuthenTICallyMe by choosing how you define yourself!
