Many bad things happen in broad daylight, some of which goes seemingly unquestioned. A young animal, stuffed into packaging, with an apple shoved in their face.
When a young feeling being loses their life, we recognise that they had so much to live for, it feels somewhat worse. But these animals were brought into the world with their death scheduled. We gave them nothing, and if they enjoyed anything at all, we stole it away. It just doesn’t make sense.
