- [REDACTED] is no more! We're excited to announce the next step on our NHRL journey, NHRL has teamed up with ESPN.
On August 1st at 11pm Eastern, ESPN will air a 24 minute TV show on ESPN2 from our Teams event as part of their Ocho programming. The show will introduce the sport, competitors and NHRL to new fans around the globe.
Firstly, thank you to all the competitors and fans who joined us at Teams and helped us create this amazing event.
We’re incredibly excited by this opportunity and particularly thankful to all the competitors who were part of this special step in our journey.
NHRL has grown like crazy in the last couple of years…
- Over a billion views of our content and millions of fans
- New events in New York and California
- New tournament formats including Teams and All Stars
- Competitors flying into Norwalk from across the world (except Antarctica, but maybe the penguins are up to something)
- Registration to compete filling up in just 7 minutes
Extending our reach into new channels such as ESPN is a key part of the next step of NHRL’s growth as we continue to build the league and bring this sport and the incredible machinery our competitors to new fans across the world.
The 24 minute show will run exclusively on ESPN platforms until September 1st. We will then make both the show and the Prime Time portion of the tournament in full and highlights of the event available for free, for all to watch internationally on our main YouTube page YouTube.com/@NHRL
