The Furies, Katie Lowe: murder, death of a parent and death of a sibling (car accident), mention of domestic abuse and child abuse, underage drinking, drug use, rape, self harm (cutting of palm for blood magic), animal sacrifice, blood and gore, fat phobia, torture, ritualised murder
The Secret History, Donna Tartt: murder, alcohol and drug use, homophobia, ableism, racism and use of the ‘n’word, anxiety and panic attacks, incest, sibling abuse, suicide
Catherine House, Elisabeth Thomas: death, human experimentation, animal experimentation, alcohol use, suggestion of suicide (not entirely sure what happens as it happens off page), cult behaviour, possible depression, needles
