More and more people are getting inspired to learn languages and also to learn multiple languages. As trends rise with people making videos speaking many languages and showing how fast they can learn, I think it's incredibly important to have an honest conversation about what learning multiple languages really looks like. What are the downsides to language hopping? How can we help learners have realistic expectations for themselves?
