The sound of ice is incredible!
I was drinking my morning coffee. There were noises coming from outside. I guessed it was someone messing with a drum machine so I went out to find them and jam along. They were nowhere to be seen.
Not on the other side of the lake either. Turned out to be the sound of the lake itself. Of the ice expanding.
It's the most eerily beautiful thing. It blows my mind. I feel very lucky to have been there to witness it.
