It's all in good fun.... BUT... there were some things in this deck that I quirked my brow about!! 🤓
Whether these were artistic choices made by Pamela Coleman Smith or weird symbols that ACTUALLY have meaning, some of the images in the Rider Waite Smith tarot filled me with confusion.
What is the 'cup' that the worker in the 3 of pentacles is holding? Why is the lady of the 2 of swords blindfolded, really?
ALSO, I didn't mention this but it's in my thumbnail... Why is the 8 of wands (my favorite card) pippy!? I don't consider RWS to be Pips, so... WTF!? 🤷♀️
So many questions, so much time to waste... lol. ⏳😂
Wading through Waite is a fun time and I'm loving just sitting here beetching about the cards. The RWS tarot has such a way of teaching that when we ARE faced with questions, we MUST go forth to the masses and hope to get some answers!!!
