The feels possessed me. Full text of the poem down below:

It’s over

No more duties due.
Nothing left I, have, to do.
Buzzes that cut to pursue –
me. Substances of daunting goo.

Zero time to rest.
An eternal irksome quest.
To test, and to reinvest
whilst deep inside being oppressed.

An urge to create,
to collate, exhilarate.
Thwarted by grotesque distaste
for something utterly innate.

Knowing what to make.
Woefully forced to forsake.
Plans to thoroughly partake.
Foiled by a wicked mental ache.

After heaps of tries.
Ultimately anguish dies;
it vaporises. I cry.
“It’s over.” And I close my eyes.
