Story Explanation:

Jackson (human with ponytail) is a scientist working at an artificial intelligence robotics research lab and is assigned to work with and supervise the prototype robot they have developed and working around the lab, named Omega (blue tall guy). At first he’s frustrated at having to work with this too happy chipper robot as he works better alone, but eventually the robots good nature wears him down and they find themselves becoming good friends and caring about each other.
Unfortunately, Omega is still a high tech piece of cutting edge piece of machinery that gets a lot of examination and admiration by people which makes Jackson slightly jealous even though he knows he shouldn't be. But Omega confesses that this attention makes him feel like he's just a toy or that he's not real and he doesn't have any kind of real soul or emotions or heart. Jackson tells him that's bull and realises he can't go on having his best friend treated like this. He drags him to their bosses office and lobbies for him to be able to do what he wants and leave like a scentiant person should. The boss wonders if Omega can say that for himself. That he has free will and a soul and wants to leave. Omega does and Jackson is delighted as he quits and they both walk out of the complex together.
