A city wilts under a blistering heat wave. Through Traffic Constable Laxman Choubey and workers living closest to the heat, we see lives shaped by extreme weather. Against Naseeruddin Shah’s narrated poetry, the heat becomes a stark lens on class, privilege, and who gets to escape it.
At ALT EFF 2026, we are meeting the times.
When the world feels like it is coming apart, we look to art as witness, joy as resistance, and cinema as a way home to each other. This film is one of many stories we are bringing together this year at the All Living Things Environmental Film Festival, December 3 to 13, 2026.
