Sylvanas has been 100% confirmed to return in Midnight with the new developer interview and it's not even a speculation anymore. Back in Dragonflight her avatar appeared talking about how she plans to walk among the forsaken once again and I think that may just be happeing now. Sylvanas is the sister of Alleria, the former ranger General of Quel'Thalas that actually became an undead by defending Quel'Thalas and now the kingdom is in danger again. We've got the Windrunner spire dungeon coming which is definitely going to be relevant to this. The real question though is how is Sylvanas coming back, as a former high elf or as a forsaken and could her return as a forsaken make them relevant. We know zones outside of just Quel'Thalas are getting updated like the plaguelands, so could we see in the 2 major patches in Midnight areas like Undercity becoming relevant again and possibly getting updated. Let's look at everything we know.
