We just learned that Obsidian is working on a new Fallout game - led by Project Director Josh Sawyer (the same guy who was project director on New Vegas).

This information comes from a Bloomberg article by Jason Schreier, and is part of Microsoft's big shakeup in their gaming division this week.

This will be the first Fallout game to come from someone other than Bethesda since 2010 (which of course was New Vegas). Finally, Bethesda no longer has a stranglehold on the Fallout IP - as Microsoft is calling the shots, not Todd Howard.
