I felt the need to do something with Levi and Petra for a long time. And then I did! And then it took me forever to upload it!
I actually wasn't going to do a Levi/Petra video but when I heard this song I thought it was so perfect for them and I had to edit it.
Man, it's kinda hard to edit Levi/Petra. Petra doesn't have a ton of good shots and when she does she always starts talking fdkja;fj
I tried something new with this video. I forget what it's called exactly. Fanart music video? Anyway, where you take fanart and give it a pretty background and stuff. ^^ I was mainly inspired by this very awesome video: youtube.com/watch?v=641HWOo9oqk&list=PLClyYBHceUVdDoMLUE1N50Zf6h97N6Yn7&index=6
And Nii (Playingxfavorites) who uses the technique a lot. I think it's so pretty but I'm not very good at it.
Levi and Petra are such a beautiful tragic pairing. I'm sure everyone knows it but I had to say it. T-T I can't help but love tragic pairings like theirs. Watching SnK for the first time, I totally thought they were cute but I didn't think they'd be anything more than implied. Then ep 21 and I had a sob fest. And then ep 22 COMPLETELY shocked me. Isayama's just like "Hi guys. I know this character just died. I'M MAKING THEIR PAIRING CANON THOUGH. WHAT." Petra/ Levi suddenly became a canon thing pretty much out of no where and I cried a lot because that was so mean. (You don't make a pairing canon after the character's dead! Jfkd;ajf) But hey that's Isayama for you.

Ive waited so long, I have waited so long!! I cried so hard btw! Everyone did! The scene was so beautiful!! (Should have been longer - THANKS coulson) but fjdk;aj it was so great. I knew they were going to have a scene but I wasnt sure what would happen. Didnt know if they were going to talk about the pod, about Simmons almost killing Ward, or about something even better. It was something even better!!!!!
SIMMONS IS IN LOVE WITH FITZ. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.
And so I had so many emotions i had to get out. I mean, first I was mad for a while (for obvious reasons) but then I was just thinking about those two scenes and I was happy again!!!!!
So this is a celebration video. I am celebrating because these two have come so far, through so much, and they have finally found their way back to each other. And not only are they back, their relationship is going to be new and even stronger!
Ive been shipping them since FZZT and Ive been dreaming of this since TRACKS. That scene was everything. (stupid directors made it too short) but it was everything!!!
Lol what rock? I dont know about any rock. Simmons is totally fine. Shes probably having dinner with Fitz right about now. hahaha *imnotokay*
But actually...Im sort of glad something came between them? I was so worried that next season they would have been together for months and we would have missed all the beginning stuff, which would have been...so hard for me. I would be angry for the rest of the year if that happened. It would be the worst.
But when I wanted something to stop that from happening, I did not mean a rock. No. Not okay.
EDITING COMMENTS:
I had a few songs to pick from and went with this one. Since the start of season 2 Distance has been a song I think a lot of fans associate with them. Its a FitzSimmons song, but not such a FitzSimmons song that I felt the need to edit the whole thing. Thats why I picked it (I had to get those feels out fast).
And I always knew if I used this song, what coloring I would go for. Sunny and bright. I really like how it turned out too! Its different from my Sun video too, so I dont feel like Im just repeating my colorings.
Also the part at the end - totally thought of that halfway through the video. Ive always wanted to do a sequence like that and it seemed to fit here.
These science babies. It finally happened. Simmons finally caught on.
And I love how after that, Fitz is the most confident weve seen him all season. (Science B-) I bet in his head he was like JEMMA LOVES ME. I CAN DO ANYTHING. QUANTUM PHYSICS. SCIENCE SASS. JEMMA LOVES ME.*
ugh I wish wed gotten to see a reunion scene though! The writers are intent on not showing their reunion scenes.
But psh theyre canon so its all good.
The writers are literally like
we know weve tortured you and destroyed you all season and now were not even going to give them a long scene...
but its canon now so that will make up for it.
And the sad thing is theyre right.

My vegas just hated this video...
I know it sucks and Im sorry about that. I actually started this video last month and I worked on it a lot. xD Its still not great. This song seems to be a hard one to edit to.
Finally I finished it and then my vegas didnt want to render it! After a few hours of wanting to kill my vegas I rendered it in parts and then rendered it all together. So the quality is a bit off. Oh well. Its finally done. YAY!!!
Its also the longest video Ive done in a while so even though its not great Im happy about it. : )
I added in lotsa fandoms you like! I would have put more Kaoru and Hikaru but the ouran episodes I have dont have a lot of them...

I took a chance and tried something really different to start off the video which I think youll see. Idk why but this song just screams awesome intro lol. And when I started I was thinking this is going to look awful but then when I rendered I was surprised to see it didnt look so bad...
I kept working on it and rendering previews and just got so excited because it was turning out well! Ive now come to really love this video and I think it looks a lot better than I thought it would so Im happy. xD
