I spent two days working on a video only to end up feeling completely frustrated and discouraged. Here is why making content as an illustrator is so hard—and how finding the right purpose changes everything.
Making videos—and art—takes endless retakes, iterations, and time. It is easy to get caught in your head and wonder if the effort is even worth the payoff. In this video, I share a candid look at the creative friction that made me quit YouTube in the past and why I'm back with a renewed perspective.
Just because something is hard doesn't mean you are bad at it, nor does it mean it isn't worth doing. When you tie your creative projects to a broader vision—like building a business, teaching a community, or serving a clear goal—the struggle gains purpose.
