The Bible presents Moses and Christ as deliberate parallels.
Their lives follow the same pattern.

But there’s one moment in Christ’s life that doesn’t appear in Moses’s story, at least not in the biblical text most people read.

Christ is tempted in the wilderness.
Moses, strangely, never is.
