A message from #WHS2025 that remains just as timely as we begin 2026.

Jonta Kamara, Y-ACT (Youth in Action), calls on decision-makers to create more spaces for intergenerational dialogue.

She emphasizes that youth voices must be included from the very beginning of discussions - all the way through to implementation. Meaningful participation ensures that programs truly reflect the priorities and perspectives of those they aim to serve.

Through the Youth Group Opportunity, Y-ACT joined 25 youth-led organizations worldwide at #WHS2025. The initiative provides complimentary tickets to organizations by and for young people, helping ensure youth perspectives are involved in shaping the future of global health.
