As Liam at @ReptilesandResearch recently said, we're always focused on new species and then lose enthusiasm as they become established and more popular. The hobby, in our opinion, would be better off if we explore morphs of established species, and lesser known subspecies, and give beginners the best start possible. New isn't always best when it comes to the well being of snakes and new keepers.
