Anyone else been unknowingly funding oppression while putting stuff in your washing machine, in your mouth, down your throat, up your vag, and on your face?
Before looking at the BDS list I was like…surely I won’t have THAT many products on the list hanging around my house…right? WOW I WAS SO WRONG. I had SodaStream, Tampax, Oral-B, Coca Cola, Persil, Cera-Ve, Old Spice, and MY DIOR FOUNDATION THAT I AM INCREDIBLE LOYAL TO…until now.
If ya’ll have any brand recs for alternatives to these, please leave them in the comments. What did you already have around your house? I recently played RummyKub and wanted to buy the game and then I found out….it’s also an Izzy import.
Curious? The BDS movement is seen as a form of non-violent resistance. The aim is to pressure Izzy to comply with international law regarding human rights. You can check the BDS list in your country by giving it a google.
Throwing the items in the trash can was for comedic effect. I did not actually waste these products, but I will not be re-purchasing them while they are on the BDS list
