Minecraft Middle Earth, opened to the public on October 16 2010. Since then we've seen so many talented people come, but also go.
The goal was to recreate Middle-Earth in Minecraft, but on the journey towards our goal, we encountered so many great people and great things. We've seen new friendships form, online as well as in real-life. We've seen how it brought people closer, and even marry each other. It also lead to people hosting events for people from our community to have a drink or go somewhere to eat.
Now we are still working on our ambitions, with major landmarks being opened, and new areas being made. There is a newly introduced PvP server to brawl with your friends.
Minecraft Middle Earth is more about just building a project, it is a living community.
