It's the rat race, we all know it and we all secretly love it, don't we? It's the reason we can enjoy our lives in the evenings and weekends.The work itself can actually be a fun and satisfying thing especially if you get all your work done and then help somebody else out with a snag. But things seem to always go better with free Lucky Charms for breakfast with an extra thing of marshmellows! oh and starbucks coffee, yeah, you know it's true.
Finally when they move all your work over to China and call you into the office to give you a tub of money so you can buy your own dang Lucky Charms and then boot you out the door, you know you're pretty much busted. They finally figured out they were paying you too much.
I think the real rat race is interviewing for a new job and knowing right away there will be no free Lucky Charms or Starbucks for that matter no matter how much you plead with them. :(
