The International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) is going to be completed and have its first experimental power generation in 2025. The most expensive science experiment ever attempted, ITER will pave the way for future technologies that will commercial nuclear FUSION energy available for the first time, dramatically reducing the cost of power for the whole planet in a clean and safe way. In this video we'll learn about the Latin word "iter" as well as the etymology of "nuclear," and if it's okay or not to pronounce this word "nucular."
