This Italian lesson is about the accento sdrucciolo. The stress falls on the third to last syllable which I find unusual and can catch a few people out. This occurs on the short forms of the verb in the present tense and the "they" form. This also affects the present subjunctive!

io cèlebro - cèlebre
io degènero - degènere
io àbito - l'àbito
