Here’s Victor Garcia pumping some power through a 1L TurboWood in a beautiful salsa lick!
Our 1L is a rough equivalent to a 1-1/4 C.
For this style of playing, most players prefer to use a shallower mouthpiece (our M cup or smaller) since those mouthpieces give you access to a bright tone color at a softer dynamic level. In other words, you don’t have to work so hard to get it to shine.
However, if you have the chops of Victor Garcia, you can get it done on a L cup and a huge sounding Solo MAX as well!
