Some Saturdays are productive. Some Saturdays are peaceful. And some Saturdays involve a dog making a life-changing decision to chase a herd of cows. 😂
This week on Being Bethunes, we set out to enjoy a simple Saturday around the bus. We spend the day tackling everyday homestead and bus life chores—tidying up the bus, washing the Jeep, cleaning up outside, and soaking in the slower pace of life here in New Mexico.
Kyle whips up an amazing dinner, and everything seems to be going according to plan… until our evening walk to the pasture overlook swing.
With the sunset settling in and the dogs exploring nearby, Theodore suddenly spots a herd of cows in a neighboring pasture. Before anyone can react, he’s off like a rocket, leaving Kyle chasing after him and turning our peaceful walk into a full-blown adventure.
Life on the road and at the homestead is never boring, and this week was a perfect reminder that sometimes the best memories come from the moments you never planned.
