“Today I’m climbing the world rankings on one of the best collegiate golf teams and earning my degree from one of the best business colleges in the country,” says UT golfer and business management major Lance Simpson.
Simpson has always had big goals and a competitive drive. The Knoxville native says UT was the only school he ever wanted to attend. Now he’s looking toward his next steps in becoming a professional golfer with business aspirations—and UT is helping him reach both.
With guidance from his coach and motivation from his teammates, Simpson is now ranked as one of the best amateur golfers in the world. And in the Haslam College of Business, his professors are setting him up to launch a successful business career.
It takes community to compete.
