England and Tottenham Hotspur striker Dominic Solanke faced the media on Tuesday afternoon after being called up to the ‘Three Lions’ squad for the first time since in seven years.

Solanke returns to the fold as part of the squad ahead of two upcoming UEFA Nations League clashes against Greece and Finland.

He made his first and only appearance senior England appearance to date in a 0-0 draw with Brazil in November 2017.

Lee Carsley will be without Morgan Gibbs-White, Ezri Konsa and Kobbie Mainoo for the two games after the trio sustained injuries for their respective clubs last weekend.

They will miss the October international period as a result.
