Right now, in 2021, is the BEST time to buy the 3ds. I am showing why with a review of the 3ds in 2021. You can get a 3ds for literally $80 used and along with that you can get games that are incredibly cheap. So, I picked up my old 3ds and some incredibly cheap games like a link between worlds, Mario 3, and Pokemon Moon. I also looked at emulation for a hot second and failed.
