It Hits 40 Degrees & the People of Chicago Are Out! | Saturday Gratitude @TheBrookhartProject

It's a momentous time for Chicagoans when pączkis return to stores and the temperature rises above forty degrees! Spring is here (almost)! You better believe we spend the day outside. First the boys go to the park where Jamesie shows off his natural soccer star talent? Once Sarah is done with work, everybody goes for a neighborhood stroll. We eat pizza outside Wrigley Field, explore some shops on Southport, and do some furniture window shopping. For dinner we make plant based burgers and smash potatoes. We will forever be grateful for Saturdays like these with our little ones!

Given Magic Kingdom and EPCOT had special fireworks, we decided to check out Hollywood Studios to TRY avoiding crowds. And avoid them, we did! Every single ride we wanted to go on was a walk on. Sarah got some more thrills in and the whole family was excited for Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railway. It started getting hot so we hopped over to the JW Marriott Bonnet Creek where our friends were staying for a dip in the pool.
