Kelsey Fitzsimmons, an off-duty 28-year-old North Andover, MA police officer, a homeowner, and a first time mother to a darling four month old baby, was shot in the chest in her own home by a fellow colleague while they were serving her with a fraudulently obtained restraining order.

Kelsey was hospitalized for many weeks, incarcerated for many months, and is slated to stand trial beginning on March 23, 2026.
