The agony of Agni Kai
The shame of getting burned
My father's wrath has seared my eye.
My filial love is spurned.

Where can I go to hide my shame?
My honor to return?
My father's love I must regain,
My rightful place to earn!

And it burns me!
How it burns!
I hate Azula so!
Just wait, Just wait
Till I return
Triumphant with the foe!


A brief respite in Ba Sing Se
Just selling tea by day
But once again Azula comes
And gets me to betray.

The fire within me all consumes
My inner light goes dark,
But I must master my own doom
And learn to cast a spark!

And it burns me!
How it burns!
I hate Azula so!
Just wait, Just wait
Till I return
Triumphant with the foe!


What if the answer is not hate,
But aiming cold and slow,
What if it's better just to wait,
Before you loose the blow?

Can I be master of my fate,
The keeper of my ire,
Perhaps today it's not too late
To be the lord of fire?

And it burns me!
How it burns!
I've let my hatred go.
And now when I return
I'm allied with the foe!
