Martin Thuo doesn't consider himself a businessman. The associate professor of materials science & engineering at Iowa State is a scientist with numerous inventions to his name. But when he developed microscopic, liquid-metal shells that can be used for heat-free soldering, he also had a vision for a startup company. That company, SAFI-Tech, is hoping to revolutionize the way electronics are made, helping to make them smaller and more flexible than ever. But he and his partner Ian Tevis first needed help learning how to start a company.
