In director John Stewart Muller's postmodern morality fable, a young woman's search for seemingly impossible answers leads to startling discoveries and deadly consequences when she documents her boyfriend's lover having a secret affair.
Muller wrote, produced, directed, and starred in the experimental feature ISSUES which chronicled his tortured relationship with two women, played by his real-life exes. As a meta-narrative, ISSUES explores the question: "What if love just isn't enough?" Mixing multiple film formats, absurdist alliterative dialogue, long uninterrupted takes, and offbeat humor, ISSUES is a uniquely intimate self-portrait.
