Israeli airstrikes continue to hit the southern suburbs of Beirut, while Israel ordered residents to evacuate the area near the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli.
Israel said it killed two Hamas officials in refugee camps in Tripoli and the eastern Bekaa Valley.
As Israel and Hezbollah trade strikes, civilians are desperate to escape the fighting.
Filippo Grandi, the UN's High Commissioner for Refugees, says he landed in Beirut in a show of solidarity with those displaced.
