The Bikestyle, Isle of Man End2End Mountain bike challenge, 2019. The annual mountain bike ride from Point of Ayre in the North to Port Erin in the South. Some footage as the first few riders cross the finish line in Port Erin.
When I first heard about the Isle of Man End2End challenge last year, I promised myself I'd enter it this year but somehow other things got in the way.........maybe next year. I did however, find myself on holiday in IOM for race day so I popped down to Port Erin to watch some of the riders finish. Here's a quick video of the first handful of riders across the line. Congratulations to all who took part in the event.
It was only when I got home to edit this video that I heard about the tragic loss of a rider during the event - my deepest sympathy to his family and friends.
