This month, the ISLE team was beyond excited to be a part of an amazing surf therapy event with “A Walk on Water,” dedicated to children with special needs or disability.
AWOW’s mission is simple; to help those in need experience the calming and therapeutic effects of the ocean. The organization works closely with local communities, businesses, volunteers and watermen to run Surf Therapy events across the country.
We were lucky to be able to volunteer at the Cardiff event and join the expertly trained surf therapists for a successful day of fun, smiles, family, friends and stoke.
