Once a year, the incredible ROMKids staff celebrate the end of the summer by spending the day at Center Island - barbecuing burgers, reflecting on our experiences, napping (in my case), and building fires on the beach. It's a pretty solid time and I'm glad that after all of these years off, I finally made it to one of these. *Disclaimer: the kid that charged the fire at the beginning? She wasn't with us. Just the byproduct of bad parental decisions and too much birthday cake. We took care of things.
