Isabella was invited to Verses Festival of Words in 2020. After the cancellation of the festival, Isabella agreed to do a reading on-line, producing a stunningly intimate performance of her work during this strange time of forced distance.

At 19, Isabella Wang has been shortlisted twice for The New Quarterly’s Edna Staebler Essay Contest, and she holds a pushcart prize nomination for poetry. Her poetry and prose have appeared in over twenty literary journals, and forthcoming in three anthologies. She is an assistant editor at Room Magazine.
