It's hard to ignore an annoying sound once your ears dial in on it. Like when my new kayak and I were in a wonderfully quiet spot and the serenity was broken by the creaking of the fabric on the seat. I knew exactly what needed to be done. But this time I would use a different kind of material that was suggested by someone in the comments last time I tried this solution with duct tape.
