Well, if you listen to @LaomaChris , then he says… Absolutely ✅

A good accent/pronunciation does two things:

1️⃣ You’ll sound familiar to native speaker‘s ears, which makes you easier to talk to and understand.

2️⃣ It makes everything else you learn easier as you progress with the language.

❌ The only thing is that a lot of learners learn everything else except for a standard accent and a solid pronunciation (People usually confuse native accent vs. foreign accent)

❌ Either because they were told they would get better with time, or thought those two things don’t matter.

It’s this mistake that leads to misunderstandings and awkward moments when speaking with Chinese people😬

So how can you achieve a native and natural-sounding accent?

Train your tones, vowels, consonants in words, AND intonation, speaking rhythm, and stress in Mandarin sentences ✅

I cover all these extensively in my “Finding Your Mandarin Voice” Pronunciation Program.

So if you want to finally stop sounding like a foreigner and being understood with ease when you speak Chinese,
