When I lettered these mermaid themed designs, I really wanted to create something that could look modern while still staying true to the playful mermaid theme. I LOVE how the designs came out! There are seven of these that I contributed to the Mermaid themed Fresh Cut SVG Bundle (Mermaid, Merman, Mergirl, Mermom, Merbabe, Mermiss, Mermrs) so they're perfect for not just quirky his and hers mugs like I've shown here, but mother daughter shirts or bachelorette tanks too.
In this video I showed not only how to apply the vinyl to the curved surface of a mug, but which vinyl from Cricut is recommended for use on mugs to make it washable. The Cricut Premium Outdoor Vinyl is what I ended up using- it has a glossy finish and has held up well with my washing!
